The Starlords of Eternity,[1] often referred simply as the Starlords[2] and sometimes as the Ancient Ones,[citation needed] are a race of ancient, immensely powerful and incredibly advanced god-like beings who protect the Multiverse from the primordial powers of chaos.
History[]
Little is known about the Starlords of Eternity, except that they created the three Relics of Legend[2][3] and wielded them in the defeat of an unknown evil ten thousand years before the founding of Dundee. Afterwards, they hid these legendary weapons across a "barren wasteland" on a remote backwater planet called "Earth" in the outer reaches of the galaxy, to safeguard them from doom and to stop them from falling into the wrong hands.[4]
In the coming millennia, these artifacts would be discovered and used by the primitive people of Scotland, who would come to worship the Starlords as gods.[2] One such man, the Hero Prince Dundax, would attain the legendary Hammer of Glory and use its ancient cosmic might to forge the mightiest city the world had ever known: Dundee.[citation needed]
One such Starlord, the lady Q'azzaruth-Gelmixoth, is said to have prophesized a "grand cosmic plan" in the Crystal Halls of Dothbogria one hundred billion years in the past, before even the universe itself was created.[5] Another Starlord, Thorulax the Omnipotent, is said to have built a Galactic Nexus portal beneath Mount Law in eastern Scotland in 4975 B.D.[6] Thousands of years later, on 1992 A.D., the evil wizard Zargothrax would make use of this same Galactic Nexus in order to summon his patron, the Elder God Kor-Virliath of the 18th Hell Dimension.[7]
Return to the Kingdom of Fife[]
In 1042 A.D. in Universe 38B, Angus McFife II (wielding the Hammer of Glory) fought against Zargotharax (wielding the Knife of Evil) and Zargothrax's clone (wielding the Vorpal Laserblaster), making epic battle using all three of the Starlords' Relics. In response to these three being brought together, the Starlords appeared suddenly and declared humanity was unworthy of existence "for [their] impudent acts" in using the Relics. Thus, the Starlords obliterated the timeline of Universe 38B, and only Angus McFife II was spared and transported to an unknown place and time.[8]
