The Robot Prince of Auchtertool was the heir to the Robot Kingdom.
Biography[]
1022-1042 A.D., Universe-38B[]
Sometime between 1022-1042 A.D. the Robot Prince of Auchtertool is activated, during the time after he is activated he becomes known as an exceptionally strong fighter as when all seems lost Angus McFife II and the other heroes seek out the Robot Prince.[1] At some point before this, the Robot Prince stormed the ports of Cellardyke, felling the dread witch-queen. He then liberated Cowdenbeath, being dubbed "saviour to all machines".[2]
1042 A.D., Universe-38B[]
It is implied that he may have been able to defeat Zargothrax Clone Alpha-1 despite him having the Vorpal Laserblaster of Pittenweem. He is ultimately defeated by the Double Wizard during the Battle of the Fortress of Crail in 1042 A.D. when he is stabbed with the Knife of Evil. He is stated to have been killed, however this is ambiguous due to the previous line by the dark sorcerer stating "Rise as an undead machine."
The Robot Prince of Auchtertool is subsequently destroyed with the erasure of the timeline by the Starlords of Eternity. It is currently unknown if he is able to be infected by the Knife of Evil or not; it is also not known if the Knife of Evil can kill things without infecting them.[1]

- The Robot Prince was stated by Christopher Bowes to potentially be the greatest minor character in Gloryhammer lore.[3]
- This was shown to be correct as fans immediately latched onto the character.[citation needed]
- The Robot Prince received a fan animation which gained 13k views within 5 days, the most popular fan animation currently made.[4]
- Christopher Bowes has made statements about planning on making a "Robot Prince" band due to a Reddit poll declaring him the real main character of GLORYHAMMER.[citation needed]
- Due to his death occurring before the arrival of the Starlords, it is a common fan joke that the Starlords were so distraught at the death of the Prince that they erased the timeline.[citation needed]
- This joke is sometimes paired with the idea that they didn't want to take Angus McFife II, but settled for him as the Robot Prince was already dead.
- The Robot Prince featured as a cameo in Alestorm's animated music video for Killed to Death by Piracy from their 8th studio album The Thunderfist Chronicles.[5]
