Angus McFife I (1) was the Crown Prince of Dundee and the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Fife, later becoming the King of Fife.

Battle against Zargothrax[]

Following the Unicorn Invasion of Dundee and kidnapping of Princess Iona McDougall, Prince Angus McFife swears a mighty oath, "I will make Zargothrax die!"^[1]^[2] and set out upon his quest. In a dream^[3] He learns of three legendary artifacts that would help him overcome the wizard, and his quest had now begun.

He journeyed into the Cairngorm Mountains^[4] to retrieve the Hammer of Glory; after many battles against goblins and trolls, he entered the shrine that held the Hammer and claimed it for his own.^[5] Then he sought out and acquired the Ancestral Laserdragon^[6] and the Amulet of Justice^[3] before allying with the Knights of Crail.^[7] Preparations completed, he set off to wage war against Zargothrax. Along the way, he called upon the aid of the "Barbarian Warrior of Unst"^[8].

Meeting Zargothrax's forces on the plains of Dunfermline, the Knights of Crail successfully defeated them in battle while Angus and the Barbarian snuck into the ancient Dwarven tunnels beneath the mighty citadel of Dundee. Along the way, they are met and guided by a mysterious hermit. Inside the citadel, Angus McFife fought the dark wizard Zargothrax in single combat. Ultimately, the wizard is plunged into a pool of "liquid ice", where he promptly froze solid "in a cage of eternal frost". Angus then frees the unicorns from Zargothrax's spell of undeath and awakens Princess Iona from her frozen slumber.^[8]

And thus, cosmic balance is restored to the lands of Dundee.^[8]

1022 A.D., Universe 38B[]

Following the activation of Zargothax Clone Alpha-One's 50-megaton nuclear warhead, Angus McFife I (along with most of Dundee) was obliterated in the blast.^[9] Angus McFife I was survived by his son, Angus McFife II, who was saved from the blast by the Wizards of the Cairngorm Mountains^[10] who foresaw the devastation and sent him to a castle orbiting the earth in space^[11] where he would spend the next 20 years training to take revenge on the cloned wizard who killed his father.
